RE: Consider this some free information

In an average day your hands will have come into indirect contact with 15 penises (touching door handles, etc.) It's a bit more "direct" in snake oil's case.Brad! Are you a pud puller? :BGuess I should have been a bit more specific as to who's hands were coming into contact.. definately not mine.

RE: College football......

Speaking of evacuating, my town just got about 4000 evacuees from the New Orleans area that are staying at a nearby military base. Sucks what's happening, but I guess that's just part of living in that region.

RE: updates?

Why do you insist on arguing a point you can't win? 'Vettes or Ferrari wanna be's and so or their owners.Plastic cars or not for stars! Huh? Is that even a coherant thought? Why ask a question you already know the answer to?

RE: updates?

Just another lead sled from GM.....Mustang is the car of the century....20thIs that why '08 Stang GTs get smoked stock-for-stock against practically decade old LS1 F-Bodies? I'll admit that Mustangs are pretty nice cars.. alot of girls I go to school with drive them! hahaha

RE: A little update...

Dont drop the cash for new injectors. You can buy the O ring kits for less than 10 bucks. Change ALL of them, not just the leakers. I tried that and ended up redoing the whoel thing due to the others leaking after replacement. Its an easy job, just pay attention. It turns out the injectors weren't leaking after all. Thus far, all that ended up needing replaced was the water pump, the coolant reservoir, and the temperature gauge. Apparently the old gauge was reading 50* too hot, so it wasn't nearly as hot as it was registering, and the cap on the reservoir wasn't sealing very well and whenever the motor got hot the coolant would boil up and come out of the cap and would start steaming, making the previous owner think it was overheating, since it was registering really hot and steaming. The impeller on the water pump was worn, so we just went ahead and replaced it while we were at it. All that is left to do is put a new headliner in it and have the driver's seat recovered 'cause it has a small tear in it. I'd say I made a good investment, because once I get everything fixed I'll be able to easily sell it for atleast $3000. I only paid $800 for it, and I've only put $200 into it thus far, so I should make quite a bit of money off of it.

A little update...

I haven't been on here much lately, so I figured I'd give y'all a bit of an update. I bought a new toy the other day... it's an '87 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 with 170k miles on it, brand new 31" BFG All-Terrains on Eagle wheels, and a small lift.. it looks practically brand new, and doesn't really need much work. A couple of the injectors are leaking so those need replaced and it's overheating a bit so I need to do something about that, but other than that, it's in awesome condition. The previous owner pretty much gave it to me, so I'll probably end up just fixing what's wrong with it and then selling it for profit. http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m254/brad7131/101_0184.jpg My mom also got a new car a couple of weeks ago.. it's an '08 Pontiac G8. So far we love it. http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m254/brad7131/101_0143.jpg

RE: 08 Raptor 350

remember my past 2 rides, a highly moded bl;aster and a KTMYour Blaster wasn't anything I would consider highly modified in the power department. I don't consider a quad with stock internals "highly modified," personally. Please correct me if you did in fact have more done to it than I remember... it's just been a while since you've bragged about what you had done to it. Brad, I'm pretty sure your statement is accurate, as far as the engine went, but didn't that thing have Elkas? I always thought that was hilarious.....nice, but hilarious.Around here you almost HAVE to have quality suspension to be competitive in most classes, but I have trouble imagining there's that much competition in a Blaster class, especially considering that Blasterfan placed as well as he did in his, what? Second season racing?

RE: All you Truck people...

Currently I'm daily driving a 1995 F150 XLT with the unbreakable 4.9 300ci straight-6 with a 5-speed. It only has 141k miles on it. Only things that have been replaced other than what I just wanted done to it so far have been a new freeze-plug a week or so ago, an oil pan gasket, and an alternator since I've had it. Only mods have been new leather upholstery, and Pioneer speakers and head-unit. If I keep it for much longer I plan on lowering the rear a few inches so that it doesn't have so much of a raked look to it, and putting on some 2nd generation Lightning wheels and a roll pan, and eventually painting it. http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m254/brad7131/100_0200-1.jpg My next purchase is a '94 or '95 5.0L Mustang to tool around with for a toy and keep my current truck for a daily driver, and then afterwards get a newer truck.

RE: MAY POTM quads, or riding pics, 1 each

You gonna go to the Oak Hill National? It's a long haul for you out to Ft. Worth, I think I'm gonna run it if I can get the Nmotion down to 98 Db...hahaha.I have a friend that races MX bikes, and I'm pretty sure he said something about there being an LL qualifier at Oak Hill coming up pretty soon that he'd be racing in. He rides at Lake Whitney and a bunch of other tracks in Texas, since the competition in Arkansas blows.
